Overview
The huge ice rink at the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre was used during the 2010 Winter Olympics, and is currently the training rink for the NHL’s Vancouver Canucks. Home to UBC Thunderbirds Hockey, the centre also offers drop-in public skate sessions and recreational skate programs for adults and kids. Skates rentals are available.
